  3. Completed Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), “Er3+ fluorescence enhancement through cooperative energy transfer from metal (Ag) or semiconductor nanoparticles (CdS or CdSe) in sol-gel derived SiO2 and TiO2 thin films” as Co-Investigator (Prof. D. Narayana Rao as principal investigator) Rs. 13,80,000.00 (2008-2011).


  4. Completed Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS-DAE), “"Preparation of novel photonic crystal thin films of polystyrene and ormosil structures and study of their linear and nonlinear optical properties” as Co-Investigator (Prof. D. Narayana Rao as principal investigator and Dr. K.S. Bindra as co-PI) 2008-2010 for Rs. 19,96,000.00.

Completed from DST-DIISR JOINT RESEARCH PROJECT [AUSTRALIA-INDIA STRATEGIC RESEARCH FUND (AISRF)] entitled, “Hybrid organometallic-coordination complex materials for nonlinear optics,” 2011-2014, for INR 10,83,880.   7. Completed from UPE Phase I entitled, “Synthesis and Photoluminescence studies of porous silicon for photonic, photovoltaic and bio-sensing applications,” S.V.S. Nageswara Rao, S. Venugopal Rao, 2012-2013, for INR 3,00,000 (No. UH/UGC/UPE- Phase II/Interface studies/ Research Projects/R-36 dated 19.04.2012).


  8. Completed from DRDO; ACRHEM phase II 2011-2016. Total projects cost ~57 Crores. Projects involved: (a) Femtosecond LIBS studies of high energy materials (HEMs) (b) Femtosecond pump-probe techniques for studying HEMs (c) Femtosecond CARS studies of HEMs. Setting up new ultrafast laser facilities with equipment worth ~4 Crores. (Phase II: Sanction Letter No. ERIP/ER/1109003/M/01/1338/1302/D(R&D) dated 31.05.2011, Total Cost: 57.00 Crores)
