Scope and Objective

The DAE-BRNS theme meeting on Ultrafast Science (UFS) is being organized since 2013 to discuss recent developments in the field of ultrafast science. Since its inception, UFS has been playing a unique role in bringing together pioneers as well as young researchers, who are using different ultrafast techniques for their research. UFS is the only forum in India to discuss the use of ultrafast laser sources in fundamental and applied research and to set the course of future direction. The main topics for the theme meeting are designed to include a wide range of subjects involving both fundamental aspects as well as the applications of ultrafast techniques in science and technology
